Our Focus on Manufacturing Breakfast will highlight important issues facing manufacturers in 2022! Our keynote speaker will be WMC President and CEO, Kurt Bauer. His remarks will provide a comprehensive overview of the year ahead, the effects of this past year’s national and state public policy, and an economic outlook on the trends expected to impact manufacturers in 2022.
His keynote remarks will be followed by a reaction panel of Wisconsin manufacturing executives facilitated by WMC Vice President of Membership & Partnerships, Wade Goodsell. The panel will discuss lessons learned from last year’s challenges and things to watch in 2021, workforce best practices and Wisconsin’s long-term economic competitiveness.
Our four-day, three night Business World Summer Camps encourage students to explore new career paths, enhance their business education and to engage with executive business leaders from all across the state while test-driving a college campus. And, even though the days are jam-packed with learning, creative and networking opportunities, we leave time for the students to unwind during factory tours, socials and supervised evening free-time activities.

The Future Wisconsin Project, a program of WMC Foundation, addresses our state’s long-term systemic, economic challenges. With partner representation from business, government, and education, this program seeks to bring all stakeholders of the economy to the table to develop solutions we can all implement. The year-long collaboration culminates with The Future Wisconsin Summit, held at the end of each year.
