Highlights
As the top industry in Wisconsin, manufacturing gets a lot of attention. This breakfast features speakers who can deliver a focused presentation on topics that directly impact the bottom line for manufacturers.
The Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation to host a statewide civics competition. The National Civics Bee® encourages young Americans in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade to engage in civics and contribute to their communities.
The competition, modeled on traditional spelling and geography bees, gives students the chance to win recognition and earn cash prizes by sharing ideas for improving their communities and showing their enthusiasm for civics.
Wisconsin Business World is committed to reach, inspire and engage students from every corner of the state and to teach them the importance of business, entrepreneurship and the free market, all while informing them of economic opportunities in their own communities. Whether in our immersive overnight summer camps, our engaging one-day programs or our motivational classroom talks, our message is simple: Business is a Force for Good.
Wisconsin Competitiveness Report
Wisconsin is falling behind. The Wisconsin Competitiveness Report addresses the issues currently crippling our state and sets the roadmap to save Wisconsin.
Wisconsin faces a shrinking population, a labor market that’s failing to grow, burdensome regulations, lagging educational performance, soaring health care costs, and a tax climate that weighs heavily on families and employers alike — all of which jeopardize the long-term strength of our state.
The report outlines forward-looking solutions to these problems that can be implemented immediately. Through reforming our tax code, controlling hospital costs, equipping schools to guide students toward career pathways, and attracting new residents through smart policy, we can put our state back on track.
